Project meeting. Students and teachers to make initial contact, get to know each other. The editorial student teams from each school will meet to discuss and finalise the topics, deadlines and protocols for the magazine in the first year. The logo for the magazine will also be chosen. Each editorial team will bring with them the winning designs from their school for judgement. The students and teachers will put together an evaluation survey to be completed at the end of the fist year. Students to write an article for the local newspaper to inform the local community of the project and its aims. |

Having watched and compared the films the student teams are to produce questions on school/education reforms for the debate with the politicians. The students will take part in a political discussion between teachers, students, parents and local politicians, to be broadcast on Bexhill FM radio station. |

Students, parents and teachers to complete the evaluation survey before the project meeting. |

Bexhill
Ve dnech 20.-25.3. se uskutečnilo již 2. setkání projektu Comenius (dotován grantovou podporou Programu celoživotního učení). Zástupci zemí Itálie, Anglie, Německo, Česká republika a Francie se tentokrát sjeli v Anglii, v Bexhillu. Hlavním úkolem bylo natočit krátké videa na témata jako jsou školské reformy, volný čas, stereotypy, životní prostředí, aj. Z našeho gymnázia se setkání zúčastnili čtyři studenti a dvě profesorky. Nejenže jsme mohli poznat novou zemi, ale také mohli porovnat lidi různých národností.
Do Anglie jsme cestovali letadlem z letiště Bratislava a přistáli na londýnském letišti Luton. Pro nejednoho z nás to byl první let. Tamější nádherné počasí, které vydrželo po celou dobu pobytu, nás příjemně překvapilo a naladilo i přes únavu do dobré nálady. Před odjezdem z Londýna do Bexhillu se pak procházeli po krásně zeleném a rozkvetlém High Parku a neodolali také pohledu na Buckinghamský palác. V podvečerních hodinách jsme dorazili do Bexhillu,kde už na nás čekaly hostitelské rodiny, u kterých jsme měli zajištěno ubytování a stravu. Mě uvítala velmi sympatická anglická rodinka, která mi pobyt ještě více zpříjemňovala. Matka se starala o domácnost, otec pracoval v oblasti stavebnictví, 12tiletá dcera Ema a 14tiletá dcera Megan se o mě starali jako bych patřila do rodiny. Vyzkoušela jsem u nich různé anglické pochoutky a nezanevřeli také na typickou večeři fish&chips. Ovšem také milovníkům čaje vřele doporučuji anglický čaj,který mi tam moc zachutnal.
Náš program nezahrnoval pouze práci ohledně Comeniusu, ale bylo pro nás připraveno i několik výletů. Navštívili jsme přístav Hastings. který jsme s průvodcem prošli křížem krážem. V městě Brighton jsme obdivovali The Royal Pavilion, což je exotický indický palác. Ale i přesto nejlepší výlet byl do hlavního města, Londýna. První zastávka byla u London Eye, ze kterého jsme měli jasný výhled do celého města. Pak jsme projížděli centrem kolem nejznámějších památek a náš zážitek dovršili v Tower of London, kde se pokochali nejen korunovačními klenoty.
Závěrečný den programu v Bexhillu jsme dokončili naše videa. Pak se na videa společně podívali a prodiskutovali případné dotazy. Nakonec jsme se všichni rozloučili u bowlingu, u kterého se každý příjemně pobavil.
Poslední den v Anglii jsme si vytvořili s profesorkami jasný cíl- podívat se na výměnu stráží u Buckinghamského paláce a navštívit Science Museum. Ani jednoho jsme nelitovali.
Myslím, že pro každého účastníka to byla dobrá další dobrá zkušenost. Každý jsme poznali novou kulturu, seznámili se s novými lidmi, se kterými se snažili o spolupráci a u toho všeho si zdokonalovali angličtinu.
A tak se loučím Anglie! Nádherný Londýn, červená telefonní budka, červený dvoupatrový autobus ,,double-decker“, Big Ben, anglický čaj…to všechno mi stále připomíná tento nezapomenutelný zážitek.
